Copyright Notice for Photographs

This site contains many photographs, all of which are protected by international copyright laws and/or treaties. This means that you may only legally use these photos in the manner in which I give permission on this page. Where permission is granted, you must not "hotlink" any images - all images must be stored as a copy on your own server.

The photos fall into two categories, which have different restrictions.

Digital Camera Photos

Pages which present a direct link to this notice contain photos of this type. No copies may be made for any purpose that is not part of everyday web surfing practice, nor for any use that provides commercial benefit. You may not take copies of any images, except for

• Where a photo contains the "GeoffKnagge.com" watermark, then all uses of the photo are to contain the same, visible, unobscured, watermark.
  
  
• Where a photo does not contain the watermark, then all uses of the photo are to contain a prominant visible link to http://www.geoffknagge.com (or the url for printed versions)
  
  
• Since these images were taken with a digital camera, my own copies are of much higher quality and without the watermark. If you are interested in purchasing digital copies, contact me via the contact page. Most photos are at a resolution of 2048x1536, and a rough price is Australian $15 each for private use ($100 for commercial), with a minimum order of $30. However, this is flexible depending on the amount ordered, which photos, and the proposed use. Payment will be via the third party site www.paymate.com.au, which allows secure credit card transactions.

General Photos

This category applies to all other photos, which were created by scanning normal photographs. No copies may be made for any purpose that is not part of everyday web surfing practice. You may not take copies of any images, except for

• Photos may only be used with my permission, which can be obtained for free via the contact page. All uses of the photo are to contain a prominant visible link to http://www.geoffknagge.com (or the url for printed versions)
